GROCERY PURCHASING AND DELIVERY
The Grocery Program provides groceries to homebound seniors who can still prepare their own meals but need assistance obtaining groceries due to lack of transportation, physical or mobility restrictions, and financial limitations. Participants receive groceries twice a month and are limited to $100 per grocery order or 40 items. We do not purchase salty or sweet snack foods, out-of-season produce, toiletries, paper products, or other non-food items.
The Meals on Wheels Grocery Program began as a response to the pandemic and continues to meet seniors' nutritional needs.
