Who is eligible for Meals on Wheels?

Rowan County Citizens who are homebound seniors, 60 years of age or older, who are unable to grocery shop or prepare nutritious meals for themselves.

Being homebound implies that due to age, recovery from surgery, illness, or due to disability, an individual is unable to prepare their own meals or has no caregiver to assist them with meals.
