Over 1,000 volunteers deliver meals each day to over 325 homebound seniors in Rowan County. Volunteers cover 31 routes, 5 days a week, for 250 days each year, covering all 500 square miles of Rowan County.

OUR MISSION

The number of seniors in Rowan County will grow exponentially in the coming years. For 47 years, Meals on Wheels has provided nutritious meals and more to homebound seniors in need. Volunteers and staff work together each weekday to ensure our participants can continue to stay healthy, safe, and comfortable in their own homes. We utilize an integrated approach to seniors' health focusing on nutrition, safety, socialization, and community connections.
