Meals on Wheels Rowan provides nutrition support to Rowan County seniors who are homebound and lack transportation or financial means to purchase their meals or groceries.
Volunteers offer a friendly greeting and observe for any safety issues or changes in condition. Our goal is to enable seniors to remain independent and live in the place of their choosing for as long as safely possible.
We encourage healthy eating and provide nutrition education. Care Coordinators support each participant with referrals for additional services such as transportation, home repair, in-home aid, senior daycare, etc.
